Practical information

Methods & rates

(Young) adults who fall between two stools, starting from the age of sixteen, are welcome at LCC. Often they can’t participate in society because of their background or because they get over-stimulated. Examples are young people with a mild learning/mental disability or youngsters struggling with addiction.

We let our young adults work together in groups of four to six people, but we pay special attention to their individual needs as well. We adapt our activities to their abilities. The artworks they create can be kept for themselves, given as a present to someone else or sold in our craft store Creabeaux. That way, we want to show that everyone can contribute to our society.

Our learning and working space is reimbursed according to the Social Support Act (WMO), the Youth Act or through a personal budget (PGB). If you would like to be selected for financial support, please contact your local health care authority. Please note that in order to get selected, our centre must have a contract with your municipality and that the municipality must issue permission.

Introductory meeting

Would you like to discover our approach without any obligations? Feel free to get to know us first. We always start with scheduling an introductory meeting (with or without the client) so you can get an idea of the activities we offer.

Before the client starts working with us, we make sure to invite him or her beforehand to get used to our approach. If you pay the fee yourself, the client can start immediately. If the municipality covers the costs, the client can start as soon as permission is granted. At LCC, no waiting times apply.
